Owned and operated by Big Night Entertainment Group (BNEG), Shrine Nightclub brings the energy and excitement of Las Vegas to the woods of Connecticut. This cutting edge nightlife destination features a 21,000 square foot nightclub & lounge and offers and experience like nothing the Northeast has seen before. The space is enhanced with an Asian flair and state of the art electronics such as the 18 Panel 4mm Nationstar LED Video Wall & Funktion One Sound System.

Deeper Thursdays at Shrine feature a variety of high-profile rotating DJs. Upcoming DJs include:

October 6: Scuba

Scuba, also known as Paul Rose, is a musical contrarian from the UK, who has deliberately pushed against dance music currents. After his 2008 debut: A Mutual Apathy, he released 2010’s Triangulation, a widely acclaimed composition of shadowy cross-genre electronics.

As the founder of his own label, Hotflush, Scuba is continuously developing his sound. After a period where album projects were the norm on the label, the recent direction has been towards, as he puts it, “the grassroots nitty-gritty dance-scene stuff.”

October 13: Cocodrills:

Hailing from the vibrant music scene of downtown Miami, Florida, Christian “Pridef” Diaz and Adam Cruz pride themselves on creating a unique musical experience, which can only be just that: experienced. Be sure to leave your pretense at the door and prepare yourself for funky grooves and positive vibes.

October 20: Shiba San:

In recent times Shiba San has garnered a lot of positive attention from every corner, with one foot in his hip hop past and the other embracing the future of house he has found a comfortable collision of the two in bass heavy ghetto funk. And associations with both Claude Von Stroke's Dirtybird label and AMINE & Dance's Cuff certainly haven't hurt.

October 27: Black Coffee

Black Coffee was born in Durban in KwaZulu Natal and grew up in the Eastern Cape in Mthatha, before moving back to Durban to study music at Natal Tech where he majored in Jazz. Fast forward to present day and it’s starkly evident that the burgeoning career of this Durban born musical mastermind has been no less than a rollercoaster of career milestones, accolades and achievements.

November 3: Golf Clap
Golf Clap are Hugh Cleal and Bryan Jones, a Detroit duo with an unmatched passion for house music and a seemingly endless supply of studio and club-focused creativity. And with releases on some of the world's most influential house labels already under their belts, along with a lauded Boiler Room session and beyond, they're only just getting started.
Golf Clap have established themselves as in-demand artists and performers in their own right, via an irresistible combination of hard work, talent and consistently being the last guys standing, wherever the party ends up.
Whether they're playing clubs, warehouse shows, or at an impromptu after-party, the sheer love these guys have for playing records and making people dance is evident. Just ask Lee Foss, Shiba San or any of the other DJs who've shared the decks with them for a B2B session: Golf Clap can mix it with the very best of them.

November 10: Pan Pot
Pan-Pot is a brilliant multi-dimensional Berlin duo currently twisting house and techno fans into rapturous fits. In just a few short years, Pan-Pot, comprised of Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix, have developed a dominate presence amongst the top tier of electronic dance music, with an ascension paralleling the rise of their native label, mobilee records.

November 17: Hot Since 82
Daley Padley, also known as Hot Since 82, is a British DJ, house music producer and DJ Awards winner, currently based in Leeds, UK. Padley entered the electronic music scene at a young age, beginning formal DJ education at age 17, he would play 12–13-hour sets each Sunday at a club in his hometown. As word got around, Padley's notoriety increased, resulting in a 2006 residency at Cream Ibiza in Amnesia under the banner of Leeds club Glasshouse. Padley has toured extensively in Europe and North America and has headlined many of the world's leading electronic music festivals, including Mr. Beanfields and WMC.

He maintains this position within the industry with an unrelenting work ethic and a determination to innovate, evolve, and entertain. Whether it's his involvement with Deep Dish, his solo performances at an extensive list of the world's most influential clubs and festivals, his dubfire:live HYBRID show, running his label SCI+TEC, or simply his exploration of audio and visual technology, Dubfire is in a class of his own.
