Tales of human transformation have thrilled and haunted humanity throughout history and so we take an opportunity with this year’s edition of our annual “Dead of Winter” horror program to highlight some of our favorites that have been transformed into cinema. Most of the cinematic tradition of animal transformation centers on the werewolf – one of the most iconic creatures of horror films – but there are other bestial delights to be found here from the insectoid, to the feline, to the regressive humanoid. Brace yourself for a program of men and women fused with beasts of all shapes and sizes!
