The legendary jazz pianist Harvey Diamond has graced the Boston area for decades with his music which is at once both deeply intricate and deeply emotional to even the most casual listener. Over the years he has performed across the U.S. and in Europe. A student of Lennie Tristano through Tristano's last decade, Harvey has done concert appearances with NEA Jazz Masters Sheila Jordan, Dave Liebman, and Art Farmer, and also with Charles Neville, Herb Pomeroy, Harvie S, John Abercrombie, George Mraz, Jay Clayton, Joe Hunt, Don Alias, Billy Drummond, Jason Palmer, Cameron Brown, Marc Johnson, Marcus McLaurine, and many others. After decades of patience by his fans, he has finally released some recordings, including It Could Happen To You with Domenic Landolf, Arne Huber and Jorge Rossy (2019); ; Look Up For Down with Hannah Rose Diamond, Jamie MacDonald, and Claire Arenius (2019); Fair Weather with Cameron Brown (2018); and The Harvey Diamond Trio with Marcus McLaurine and Satoshi Takeishi (2015). He has performed at New York's Mezzrow, Kitano, Apollo Theater, The Drawing Room, the Cornelia Street Cafe and The Stone; Minneapolis' Crooners Lounge; Boston's Regattabar, Scullers, Ryles, Mandorla Music Series, and Acton Jazz Café, the Vermont Jazz Center and many others venues. He has been a guest on WGBH Radio on Eric Jackson's Show Eric in the Evening and at the Lennie Tristano Symposium for two years, including this perfomance at the 2007 Lennie Tristano Symposium. He has performed at the Boston Globe Jazz Festival, was the featured pianist at MIT's Herb Pomeroy First Memorial Concert, and at the New Hampshire Jazz Festival with Sheila Jordan.

Bassist Jon Dreyer is one of Harvey Diamond's closest collaborators. He also performs regularly with James Merenda, both as a member of his high-energy, jazz-ish band TickleJuice and also in more mainstream jazz settings. He has performed with NEA jazz master Sheila Jordan as well as most of the Boston jazz community, including Jerry Bergonzi, George Garzone, Jason Palmer, Adam Janjigian, Yoko Miwa, Frank Wilkins, Dominique Eade, Bob Gullotti, Joe Hunt, Steve Langone, and Austin McMahon.

Drummer Austin McMahon performs regularly with Jerry Bergonzi’s Quartet and has recently performed and/or recorded with Sean Jones, George Garzone, Joe Lovano, Lionel Loueke, Ben Monder, Lage Lund, Kate McGarry, Noah Preminger, Jason Palmer and Grace Kelly. He has appeared as an opening act for Grammy award-winners Dianne Reeves and Esperanza Spalding. McMahon is the winner of the 9th annual Independent Music Awards for Jazz Song Category and Nominee for Best Jazz Album in the 11th annual IMA's. His debut CD Many Muses was selected as a CDBaby Editor’s pick and described as "subtle, reverential to tradition, and thoroughly new." He was recently featured on NPR JazzSet with Dee Dee Bridgewater, WLRN Miami (NPR station) and live on WGBH radio, Boston, MA. Austin is also the co-founder, producer and recording artist for the burgeoning record label Fractamodi and has recorded on over forty commercially released albums in the past several years.

There will be no set list and no charts. Anything can happen. Listen to what Warne Marsh called "the spontaneous creation of beauty."
