You’re invited to GA’s exclusive private hiring event to meet our latest cohort of Data Scientists, who have honed their skills in General Assembly’s Data Science Immersive program. In this lightning talk format, you’ll learn how our grads wrangled complex data sets to study topics such as:
-Behind the Music: Natural language processing, Turkish Song Lyrics, and Historical Events
-Using regression modeling to predict NBA player salaries during free agency
-The Language of Food: Improving diner experience through user reviews, NLP, and network analysis
-What animal are you? Using neural nets to identify novel animal-like constellations associated with the time and location of your birth
-Can machine learning settle the debate about whether sunspots correlate with earthquake occurrence?
We welcome fellow data scientists, recruiting managers, and anyone hiring in data science and data analytics.
Meet the Tech Talent:
General Assembly trains professionals in data visualization, regression and modeling techniques, machine learning, and tools like Python, SQL, Tableau, and Hadoop. Our skilled coders and statisticians have collected and transformed extremely large datasets into usable insights with predictive power.
