Dance for World Community Festival Week kicks off with the Dance on Film Series, June 5-7, 2017 at The Brattle Theatre, Cambridge.


A moving portrait of Larissa Ponomarenko, prima ballerina of Boston Ballet, who has recently retired. Follow her journey from a difficult childhood in Russia to her emergence as a prima ballerina of a leading American ballet company and the road ahead as she pursues new avenues of self-expression.


Dance for World Community Festival Week concludes on Saturday, June 10 with Festival Day - a FREE daylong, indoor/outdoor celebration of dance featuring more than 80 Boston area dance groups!
