Old Cambridge Baptist Church hosts Dance Exchange for a danced liturgy and forum both of which focus on racial justice. The forum will explore how our creative capacities can deepen our understanding and work to dismantle white supremacy and inquire into how reconnecting to our bodies can support us in being more fully present in the world in which we live. Dance Exchange is a 40 year old non-profit dance organization committed to exploring critical contemporary issues through innovative performance projects and creative practices that encourage intergenerational, interdisciplinary reflection, dialogue and action regarding these issues. Both the OCBC congregation and Dance Exchange have been working this year on the theme of race in our lives and communities.
