Cult of Point Break Society is an ever-expanding collective comprised of members of various local Boston groups (this year’s members represent Eddie Japan, Lifestyle, The I Want You, Viva Gina, Boston Rock Opera, and more!)—and these scene veterans are delighted to present their most ambitious effort yet in a benefit show to benefit ACLU and Planned Parenthood


For these shows, a 16-piece band has been assembled to play some of the most complex and rich music within the rock canon. This includes a 7 piece core band, 5 vocalists, and a 4-piece horn section. A COPBS project is always a master class of sweat and tears for participants, and this year has been no different. Twelve months of preparation comes to fruition, after which the Cult of Point Break Society does a round of shots and goes starts discussing the next project.
