Colorado Public Radio’s podcast “On Something”, in collaboration with The Boston Globe, will host a live podcast taping and conversation on cannabis legalization on Thursday, Oct. 10, at The Comedy Studio in Somerville from 6-7:15 p.m.
As cannabis legalization becomes a bigger issue topic in New England and the East Coast, it’s important to explore unforeseen consequences, complicated regulations and crucial lessons learned. Ann Marie Awad, reporter and host of "On Something", and the Globe Team will cover topics including Massachusetts’ first-in-the-nation social equity program, the impacts of licensed cannabis businesses on neighborhoods, and surprising challenges for regulators. Audience questions will be welcome.
The event is free and seating is limited. Tickets are available through Eventbrite below.
