Costumes & Candlelight: Hammond Castle After Dark

Avoid the crush of crowds and enjoy Halloween week with friends at Hammond Castle Museum after dark! Come dressed in your favorite costume to explore the hallowed halls of Hammond’s castle, the very rooms where legends of the inventor’s ghost ships were born.

Plenty of candles cast haunting shadows, creating the perfect backdrop for your photos. As you wander, the haunting tunes of John Roper on Hammond’s original Chickering & Sons piano will echo through the galleries, heightening the eerie atmosphere. Guests can savor the moment with a handcrafted cocktail or mocktail, available for purchase, while soaking in the chilling ambiance.

Whether you’re searching for the ravens we’ve hidden, following the sound of the piano’s ghostly notes, or simply reveling in the museum after dark, our Costumes & Candlelight self-guided tours promise a hauntingly good time.

- Timed entrances every 15 minutes

- 6-9 pm Tuesday & 6-10 pm Wednesday.

- Advanced reservations strongly encouraged.

This program is not intended for those under 13 years of age.
