This free workshop is a pleasure centered introduction to making sure all the sex you initiate is consensual. Together we'll brainstorm many different ways of asking for consent, saying yes, and saying no, so you can find at least one of each that feels like a good fit for you.


This isn't about us telling you the "right" words to say. It's about finding ways to communicate in the bedroom (or wherever things are getting steamy!) that sound like you. When done skillfully, asking for consent doesn't need to be a mood killer!


Also, consent is about so much more than just asking for a yes/no! It's about creating open lines of communication in an ongoing way, and making sure the other person feels comfortable saying no to you. We'll look at different ways to gracefully accept a "no" that help you both feel comfortable and respected.


By the end of the workshop, you'll see how getting consent can be the start to a fun, sexy conversation where you each divulge your erotic desires. Because talking openly about what each of you likes and wants, as well as what does and doesn't feel good, is the foundation for amazing, consensual sex.


Great sex happens when everyone involved is confident that their partner(s) are 100% on board with every sexy thing that happens. When you learn to get comfortable communicating about sex, you just might find that you enjoy sex more!

Venue details:

The KiOSK is wheelchair accessible. There is a bathroom nearby in the Smith Center. Street parking nearby can be difficult, but the KiOSK is located directly next to main entrance to the Harvard Square MBTA (red line).
