Concerts in the Courtyard are back after two long years! Tucked inside the MFA’s Calderwood Courtyard, this series showcases the hottest, most diverse acts from Boston and around the globe kicking off with musician and songwriter—Barrie. Born and raised in Ipswich, Massachusetts, Barrie brings her unique brand of big, layered sounds to the MFA with a beautifully peculiar and quietly ambitious collection of synth-pop, art-pop, indie rock, and folk songs that reflect a new willingness to let listeners into her world.

Doors will open at 6 pm. Music starts at 7:30 pm. Seasonal flatbreads, cheese and fruit boxes, and grab-and-go items (chips, cookies)—plus beer, wine, and soft drinks—are available for purchase beginning when doors open.


Tickets are $24 for members and $30 for nonmembers.
