Do you love to sing? Never sung before, but curious about singing in harmony?
Join Ball in the House, Boston’s own R&B/Soul/Pop a cappella group, along with Boston Children’s Chorus, for an exciting a cappella concert full of fun, interactive, sing-alongs! There’ll be instruction for harmony singing, a wild history ride through various genres of vocal music, and even demonstrations of riffing and beatboxing!

About Ball in the House:
Ball in the House is an R&B/Soul/Pop a cappella group based out of Boston, MA, whose high energy shows have audiences singing, dancing, even beatboxing along!
With their extensive tour schedule (averaging 200 shows a year), Ball in the House has performed everywhere - from theaters to performing arts centers, fairs & festivals, to opening for some of the biggest acts in the world, such as The Beach Boys, The Jonas Brothers, The Temptations, Fantasia, Gladys Knight, Lionel Richie, Jessica Simpson, Blondie, Smokey Robinson, KC & The Sunshine Band, Diamond Rio, Colin Raye, Orleans, and numerous others.
They’ve also become nationally known for their cultural arts programs over 20+ years of educating, entertaining, and inspiring students of all ages with their assemblies, workshops, masterclasses, and collaboration concerts.
They headlined the 2018 & 2016 China International Chorus Festival in Beijing, won the 2016 Boston Harmony Sweepstakes, and were voted 2014 APCA Band of the Year and 2009 Best of Boston for Outstanding Musical Performers. For six years, they were the voices behind all the Cool Whip commercials and recently wrote and performed the jingle for Amazon’s
Prime Day. Ball in the House has appeared on America’s Got Talent, The TODAY Show, The Daily Buzz, the Philadelphia 4th of July Parade, and SBS Culture Club and MBC News in Seoul, South Korea.

Boston Children’s Chorus (BCC)’s vibrant, jubilant, and powerful performances have established them as leading young artists in the city of Boston and beyond. Internationally recognized for its innovative programming, passionate artistry, and ability to connect to audiences, BCC showcases the talent and passion of the diverse young people of our city.
Named Boston’s “Ambassadors of Harmony” by the Boston Globe, BCC presents over 50 performances per season in a wide range of public and private events. They have performed in venues from Boston Symphony Hall, and Royal Albert Hall in London, to the Sydney Opera House, and the White House. In 2020, it was announced that the album Fantastic Mr. Fox won a Grammy for Best Opera Recording. This recording featured the acclaimed Boston Modern Orchestra Project in collaboration with Odyssey Opera and Boston Children’s Chorus, under the baton of Gil Rose. In 2013, they were presented with the National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award, distinguishing BCC as one of the top arts and humanities based programs in the nation; BCC accepted the award from First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House.
