The Malden Public Library and The Immigrant Learning Center are hosting a free, virtual talk to celebrate the new Americans of Malden! It will be an exciting deep dive into Malden’s immigration history and firsthand stories of today’s immigrant journeys from Asia, the Caribbean and elsewhere. We are celebrating "Welcoming Week," a time designated by the nonprofit Welcoming America for embracing our immigrant and refugee neighbors.
Speakers will include The ILC Founder and CEO Diane Portnoy, Director of Malden Public Library Dora St Martin, President of Malden Historical Society John Tramondozzi and Founder of Wah Lum Kung Fu & Tai Chi Academy Mai Du.
