Now in its ninth year, the Columbia Threadneedle Investments Boston Triathlon will take place in South Boston on July 30, 2017. Athletes from across the world, the U.S. and New England are expected to compete in this unique and iconic event, which includes both Olympic and sprint distance races. The events feature a swim at the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation’s (DCR) Carson Beach, a bike ride on DCR William Day Boulevard, and a run along the South Boston waterfront, accessible by athletes of all abilities. Participants can compete individually or as part of a team or relay, and the races will be followed by a celebratory after-party, hosted by Michelob ULTRA. A Kids Splash-and-Dash event will take place on Saturday, July 29. Race and registration information is available at BostonTri.com.
