Meet other students who love books and bookstores, find some new reads, and enjoy some free treats.


Porter Square Books will set up displays around the store with classics, bestsellers, and genres. Hang out by your favorite book or to meet people who also love it. Or introduce yourself to something new by chatting with folks who know it well. Each display will also have some questions and prompts to help kickstart conversation.


There will be free snacks and drinks for attendees, including cookies baked by this year’s winners of the Great Bookseller Bake Off! A student ID will still get you 10% off your purchase and 20% off select college essentials!
