Cocotree Kids, a MA-based non-profit that provides new underwear to at-risk youth in Massachusetts, invites families to their Spring Into Action Celebration Event at The Little Lovage Club in Boston on Saturday, May 18 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. There will be a service opportunity to sort underwear for kids, as well as the opportunity to enjoy a fun play space, refreshments, a face-painter, other entertainment and have a chance to meet the Cocotree Kids team. Individuals and groups are welcome to drop off donations of new underwear at the event or make a suggested donation of $25 per family.

In the state of Massachusetts one in three children under the age of 12 experiences clothing insecurity. An often-overlooked donation, new underwear provides children with confidence, comfort, and dignity to face the road ahead of them. Since 2021 Cocotree Kids has distributed 174,119 pairs of underwear, providing seven pairs to 24,874 kids.
Cocotree Kids receives support from many organizations who have made significant donations including CVS Health, the Boston Foundation, Foundation for MetroWest, Forest Foundation, Harbor One Bank, DanceFit Studio, and Needham Bank and in-kind donors including Lucky & Me and Primary.com.
The best way to support Cocotree Kids is by making a financial donation enabling the organization to purchase new underwear from their suppliers at less than retail cost. There are several giving levels, for example a generous $350 donation can purchase 700 pairs to provide a week's worth of underwear to 100 children.
