We're hosting a closing reception for the incredible ceramic installation by Adria Katz and Cecilia Lang, currently in Spaceus's left window. Celebrate this magical world Adria and Cecilia created, and maybe even take a piece of this world home with you! Pieces from the installation will be for sale up to and on the day of the closing reception. For price lists, inquire at Spaceus or at [email protected].


In this installation, different growths—pods, buds, polyps, spores—show species thriving, heedless of their human spectators. So much grows without a thought from humans—too small, too remote, too hidden that we live our lives uninterrupted by its presence. In the sea, in the soil, in sandy middens, cypress marshes, brackish tidal zones, life grows and dies, cycling through stages, without a human witness.
