CLIFF NOTEZ is an award-winning musician, filmmaker, and organizer. Rooted in hip hop, his art tackles the political and the personal, exploring the intimate consequences of a society where black bodies are easily ignored, forgotten, or disregarded. His debut solo album "When the Sidewalk Ends" was released last year and is available on Spotify and Apple Music.
AISHA BURNS is a violinist + singer-songwriter.
Hailing from San Antonio, Aisha joined Texas instrumental outfit Balmorhea on violin in 2007 and has been touring, recording and performing ever since. After years of secret singing, she began tracking a project of her own. Inspired by Gillian Welch, Nina Simone, the warmth of a string quartet, the quiet of night, loss, and simplicity, her debut record "Life in the Midwater" was born and was released in 2013 by Western Vinyl. Her sophomore LP, "Argonauta" was released May 25th.
