Circus Mixtape is part variety show, part art salon, and part concert. This innovative series brings together luminaries of the local Boston music scene with Boston’s pre-eminent contemporary circus company, Circus 617. This show dares the artists to work across disciplines and make unique, vulnerable, and memorable new works that couldn’t exist without their cross-collaboration. Winter 2025’s cast includes Brian King of legendary art rock band What Time Is It Mr. Fox, Jazz aficionado Jerry Sabatini, and the glorious ethereal music of Heiraza in tandem with gravity-defying aerial acts, live bubble performance, and circus of all kinds featuring world-class circus performers seen on stages across the world, but who call Boston their home. It will be wild, it will be weird, and it will be wonderful.
