Join us as we learn more about the history and role of the Roxbury Russet apple in cider making. Curtis Perrin, a Roxbury historian and architectural designer, will discuss how the Roxbury Russet (America’s oldest apple) was developed on the Warren Farm in Roxbury. Artifact Cider Project will introduce how cider is made and why these apples remain important today. There will be opportunity to sample cider made from Roxbury Russet apples by Artifact Cider Project.
