Join us for a magical day at GISB’s beloved Christkindlmarkt on Saturday, December 6! For one day only, our campus will transform into a festive winter wonderland filled with holiday cheer and fun for the whole family.

Bring your family and friends and enjoy a festive afternoon filled with music, shopping, kids activities, and delicious food and drinks. Save the date—this is an event you won’t want to miss!

Our German Holiday Market is back, and we can’t wait to share it with you! Come explore an amazing selection of talented artisans offering unique, handcrafted treasures—it’s the perfect place to find thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gifts for family and friends while enjoying a festive, cheerful atmosphere.

By popular demand, GISB is also bringing back beautiful handcrafted decorations from Germany’s Erzgebirge region. These traditional ornaments are full of history and charm, adding a genuine touch of German holiday magic to any home. Plus, every purchase helps support GISB and our wonderful school community.

Kids’ Activities

We’ve got plenty of festive fun planned for kids again! Little ones can get creative in our two holiday-themed arts and crafts rooms, and toddlers will love the special play area in the gym. All kids can join a fun scavenger hunt with prizes, and our ever-popular petting zoo is back, giving everyone a chance to meet some adorable, friendly animals.

Seasonal Sweets & Savories

Get ready to dive into festive flavor! Bite into authentic German bratwurst, sip a steaming mug of spiced mulled wine, or enjoy a crisp, refreshing beer. Got a sweet tooth? Treat yourself to warm waffles, decadent cakes, and fluffy cotton candy that melts in your mouth. Hot coffee and cold drinks will be on hand to keep you cozy and refreshed. Come hungry and taste the magic of the season!

Pop-Up Portrait Studio

Make memories that last a lifetime! Join Natalie Nigito Photography at the Christkindlmarkt for a festive family portrait. The Holiday Photo Booth will be open on Saturday, December 6, from 2–4:30 PM. Spots go quickly, so reserve yours now and capture the magic of the season!

Caroling

Let your voice join the chorus of holiday joy! At 6:00 p.m., our students from both the Upper and Lower Campuses will gather on the stairs in the Holton Garden for a festive caroling sing-along. Join in the singing, take in the music, and enjoy a special moment of holiday togetherness. It’s a joyful Christkindlmarkt moment you won’t want to miss!
