Top Female and Male runners that complete the CNR Charity Hot Shot 5K Race & Picnic will win a supply of Chicken & Rice Guys for ONE Year. CEO Ian So will run the race in a chicken suit for its five year anniversary. Those who outrun Ian the Chicken will receive a free CNR meal card at the finish line on Sunday, June 4 at 10:30 a.m. at Chestnut Hill Reservoir.
“It’s a great time for our fans and several staff crews to congregate," said Ian. "I do currently sport an ‘overweight’ BMI, so outrunning me shouldn't be hard.”
A shot of CNR Extra Spicy Hot Sauce must be taken at the finish line to complete the race. CNR will be serving their favorite dishes at the picnic for registered HOT Shot 5K Runners and picnic ticket holders.
All proceeds benefit CNR’s co-host, Boston Road Runners a non-profit athletic and community organization committed to promote running as a healthy activity.
Other games include kickball, wiffleball and Frisbee.
