Cheers to Five Years: A Night Shift Anniversary

Can you believe it!? Night Shift Brewing is turning FIVE YEARS OLD! It's been a wild ride, especially since this time last year. We've added tanks, employees, partner companies (shout out Night Shift Distributing!), and so much more. There's a lot to toast to, and we're stoked to do it big. Sunday the 12th is going to be an all-day celebration of NSB - Taproom and Annex will be open, plus the patio!

The Beers:

Unlike most 5-year-old birthday parties, ours is going to have lots of fresh beer. Along with all of our usual offerings, we'll be unleashing three (THREE!) special releases to celebrate the occasion.

Special Release #1 is Annie Oatley! This pale ale brewed with oats and hopped with Simcoe, Citra, and Mosaic first visited the Taproom in the fall, and made a big splash. We'll be bringing back cans and draft to celebrate the special day.

Special Release #2 is 2017 Bean Porter. It's a porter aged in bourbon barrels with vanilla and coffee beans, that we release every year (or so). This one will be bottled, as well as on tap!

We'll be rolling out more release info as the date approaches, so be sure to RSVP to get updates when we drop this knowledge!

The Grub:

For food we'll have Roadies Diner out on the patio serving up their Latin-American inspired grub. Inside, the lovely folks from Kitchen Millie cookies will have their pop-up going to satisfy your sweet tooth. As always you're welcome to BYOF, or order in from one of our local pals.

The Party Plans:

Sam Reid & the Riot Act will be holding it down with tunes in the afternoon! They've visited the Taproom before, and we love their style.

What's more...those of you that remember our first Taproom space may recall the tiny bar, and the founders pouring beer and talking shop. Our 5-year party is going to be a blast from the past, because we have it on good word that two of the three NSB co-founders, Michael Oxton and Mike O'Mara, will be serving beer just like the old days for a couple hours in the afternoon. Let's see if they can still hang!
