Chartreuse Week at Troquet on South, starting September 30
Troquet has a HUGE selection of Chartreuse bottles, and wants to celebrate this unique elixir with Boston herb-heads. Chartreuse Week will be held from September 30 through October 3, featuring Chartreuse pours, cocktails, and culinary plates.
Guests may purchase the following liqueurs: Green Chartreuse, Yellow Chartreuse, Chartreuse Centenaire, Green VEP, Yellow VEP, Chartreuse MOF, Chartreuse Sommeliers, and Chartreuse “1604”. A flight of 4 Chartreuse will be available for $30.
The Troquet bar will also be pouring a bottle of 1970 Yellow Chartreuse, and a bottle of 1964 Green Chartreuse VEP. Chef Aaron Lhamon will be serving Oysters with drops of Chartreuse Vegetal. All menu items will be available while supplies last. The bar does not accept reservations; it is first-come, first-served.
Chartreuse is a liqueur made by French monks, featuring a mixture of 130 plants. Only two people in the Grande Chartreuse Monastery know "the secret formula”.
Troquet boasts an award-winning wine list curated by owner and sommelier Chris Campbell. Troquet has been providing fine dining to the Boston area since 2002. For inquiries, contact General Manager Jake Tringali at [email protected].
