Kenneth Mok (Violin), Heeyeon Chi (Piano), and Linden Wu (Flute) will be performing from a majority of French composers.


They will play the following:


Violin Sonata in E minor, Mozart
Flute Sonata, Poulenc
Deux Interludes, Ibert
Medailles Antiques, Gaubert


About the Artists:


Kenneth Mok is a superior and versatile violinist who uplifts every session in which he appears. In his career thus far, Mok has performed with many orchestras in both Hong Kong and Boston. He is currently the concertmaster of the Umass Boston Chamber Orchestra and principal second violinist with the Unitas Ensemble. He performs regularly with such orchestras as the Boston Civic Symphony, the Boston Opera Collaborative and the Hong Kong City Chamber Orchestra. In recent times he has performed at such venues as the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Hong Kong City Hall, Central Conservatory in Beijing, Ely Cathedral and Southwark Cathedral in the UK, Berklee Performance Center, Hynes Conventional Center in Boston, Jordon Hall and Boston Symphony Hall.


Korean pianist Heeyeon Chi has performed in Canada, Germany, Luxembourg, Russia, and in the United States, recently earning an award for Outstanding Performance from the Schulich School of Music at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Ms. Chi is the first prize winner of the 2013 American Protégé International Concerto Competition, which included a performance at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, New York, as well as a prize winner in such competitions as International Keyboard Odyssiad Festival & Competition, Brandshaw & Buono International Piano Competition, Canadian Music Competition, Burnaby Clef Society Competition, and Burnaby Concerto Competition.


Taiwanese-American flutist Linden Wu is a rising musician and teacher in based in the city of Boston. Raised in the Chicago suburbs, he started piano at age four and began flute when he was ten years old. He received his undergraduate degree in music education from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, studying under Dr. Jonathan Keeble. He went on to receive his master’s degree in music performance from the New England Conservatory, where he received tutelage from Paula Robison.
