Downtown Middleborough Street Painting Festival! Vendors, craft people, and chalk artists wanted! Come enjoy local food, kids activities, a DJ, and win cash awards for your street art!

Judging and awards - 3:30pm

Festival 10am-4pm


$5 per 9' x 8.5' space - chalk provided


Come chalk the sidewalk surrounding Town Hall!


CHALK IT UP!! Spring into May with this fantastic creative event for all. Purchase a section, grab your chalk, get on your haunches, and let it go. Come with a plan or doodle on the spot. All are welcome at this kid and family-friendly event.


Who is it for?

This event is designed to bring the community together. Youth Sports teams can sign up and draw their favorite sports theme. Local businesses can use the event for a team-building session. Families can enjoy a day of fun going back in time to when mum and dad would draw on their own pavements.


What is Pavement Art?

Street painting, also known as screeving, pavement art, street art, and sidewalk art, is the performance art of rendering artistic designs on pavement such as streets, sidewalks, and town squares with impermanent and semi-permanent materials such as chalk. All proceeds benefit The Heart in Art, a recognized 501c3 non-profit, an organization that works to make art more accessible for everyone, especially children and those with disabilities.


Featuring artist and designer Alex Inacio, working in a wide selection of media, from animation cartoons, to voice acting, to hand-drawn pictures and clay designs. Watch his new and original videos at the YouTube channel: Inacio Studios Media.


Come join us at this event and make the street your canvas. Turn the Town Hall into an art museum. Celebrate your vision and the community. Bring your family and friends. Cash prizes will be awarded for:

Business sponsors will have their names stenciled on a square. This is a great opportunity for businesses to take part in the event.
