The Center for Women & Enterprise’s Women of Color Business Summit, which takes place on day two (October 14) of the Women Business Leaders conference and was established to focus on the development, success, and highlights of women of color entrepreneurs and business leaders, who have been most impacted by the economic fallout and “she-cession” wrought by COVID-19. The summit provides a space and opportunity to address the unique challenges, concerns, and issues facing one of today’s fastest-growing--yet least supported--groups of entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Headlined by keynote speakers Erin Baumgartner, CEO and Co-Founder of Family Dinner; and Janice Bryant Howroyd, Founder and CEO of ActOne Group, the conference offers workshops, round tables, and panel discussions led by experts in a variety of fields. Topics center around business building and scaling, financial literacy, personal journey, marketing, self-care, growth, and more.
The ultimate goal of the Women Business Leaders Conference featuring the Women of Color Business Summit is to leave attendees with expanded networks and practical tools to help them succeed in their business endeavors and strengthen their communities.
