As an extension of the Composer Focus concert series at the Lilypad, in Inman Square, Cambridge, Nick Dinnerstein will be performing a solo cello recital of traditional and 20th and 21st century works, amplified - as well as music for cello and loop pedal. The program will include excerpts of Kodaly and Hindemith, transcriptions of O'Connor and Moondog, and Bach's Suite II, as well as original compositions.

Composer Focus has completed two seasons, was a recipient of a grant from the Cambridge Arts Council, and has received press from the Boston Globe, Musical Intelligencer, and other online periodicals. Composer Focus presents 20th and 21st century chamber music by a broad array of composers, from Glass to Shostakovich to Ligeti.
