Celebrate the 148th Kentucky Derby at Horse Thieves Tavern in Dedham Square this Saturday, May 7th. Study the Derby race card and come dressed to impress! Their annual event is from 11:30 a.m. to race time (6:30 p.m.) every drink purchased will enter you into a Derby raffle. Plus, there will be a prize for the best-dressed Derby viewer.


Horse Thieves Tavern will have special mint juleps perfect for the occasion. Plus pitchers of beer and other specials. Who needs to go to Louisville when you can watch "Run for the Roses" in Dedham Square?!

A reminder that they are now serving weekday lunch. Lunch and dinner menus will be available with all your Horse Thieves Tavern favorites.

Horse Thieves Tavern is a modern interpretation of a traditional New England tavern – located in historic Dedham Square. It's recognized as a place where locals and travelers mix in a warm and inviting atmosphere to enjoy hearty and healthy regional food and drinks. Horse Thieves Tavern offers special nights throughout the week including Country Tuesdays allowing guests to enjoy country music and free popcorn and Live Music on Thursdays, a perfect opportunity for guests to enjoy late-night bites.


Horse Thieves Tavern is open Tuesday through Sunday for dinner, with lunch Wednesday through Friday, brunch on the weekends, and a late-night bites menu.

Monday: Closed

Tuesdays: 4:30 pm to 10 pm.

Wednesdays & Sundays 11:30 am to 10 pm.

Fridays & Saturdays 11:30 to 11 pm.

Sundays 11:30 am - 10 pm.

The bar stays open after the kitchen closes.
