As the botanical origin of chocolate, cacao dates back thousands of years in South American indigenous cultures, where it was used more often as an elixir of power and healing, rather than a dessert or treat. We'll dive into facets of the tales of witchcraft, potions, and spells throughout time and their connection to our favorite food as we taste small batch, craft chocolate samples with unique and exciting herbal or spice inclusions, while we also touch upon the science-backed health benefits of eating good chocolate in modern day.
