After a hiatus of several years, CFA cats (and kittens) are returning to Springfield. The Cat Fanciers’ Association, will be hosting the cat show along with the Saturday evening banquet where top winning cats and their owners will be honored and presented awards. These winners are from the CFA NorthAtlantic Region of the United States, primarily New England, and eastern sections of NY, NJ, PA and Canada. CFA is a world-wide organization with regions across the United States, Europe and Asia.
The show is being held at the Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place Hotel on Saturday June 18 and Sunday 19, 2022, 9 am - 4 pm both days. Spectator guests are invited to visit the show and see the many breeds entered in the competition. They are also invited to watch the cats being judged in the eight judging rings, four judging rings ongoing each day. The colorful decorations in the show hall reflect this year's “Candy Land” theme.
Our cat show is family friendly and wheelchair accessible. It would be a wonderful way to spend the day with your friends, kids or grandkids. There are 45 pedigreed breeds of cats recognized in CFA as well as a category for Household Pets. Many of these breeds will be represented at the show. If you have been to shows in the past, it may be time to come back and see these new examples of your favorite breeds.
There will be unique vendors, too, with products for both cats and their owners.
Admission: $7.00, Adults; $5.00, Seniors and Children 5-12
