Discover the “spirits” of Aldens past on candlelight tours of historic Alden House, Saturday, October 28, between 5 and 7 pm. Costumed docents will take you on a trip back in time as you explore the history of the Alden family and early Duxbury on this fun and “illuminating” tour. The candlelight tour is approximately 45 minutes and is not recommended for children under six.


Part of the original land grant given to Mayflower Pilgrims John and Priscilla Mullins Alden in 1627 and home to generations of Aldens, the property is now a National Historic Landmark. Alden House Historic Site is located at 105 Alden Street, Duxbury and owned by the Alden Kindred of America, Inc.
