Metta is a Pali word for the Buddhist virtue of Loving Kindness, a sincere wish for the welfare and genuine happiness of all beings, without exception. The music we play is spiritual in nature, a celebration of life and based on the intention of liberating all beings. While Dave and Pete have played, performed and recorded together for more than 40 years this is the first time playing with Ra Kalam Bob Moses and Damon Smith. Grounded in this spirit of good will we will play music of the moment, embracing the great mystery of life and collective consciousness, as it develops and transforms in instant composition. May we embrace each moment of life with open heart and open ears. May we and all beings be lifted in spirit and find freedom from suffering.
