Embrace the winter season on December 3rd and 4th at a boutique market featuring local brands, artists and artisanal food makers at Canal District Kendall. Open each day from 11am-4pm, Winter Market attendees will enjoy live music, participating in crafts for all ages guided by Albertine Press, and seasonal delights including a festival of holiday trees and ice sculptures. [email protected] District Kendall, the ice skating rink, will also open for the season on December 3rd (weather permitting), drawing hundreds of locals to this popular annual CDK tradition.
Craft events are coordinated by Albertine Press, a letterpress print & design studio, and gift boutique for the paper obsessed. When we're not busy crafting letterpress goodies and peddling artisanal wares, we host creative workshops for neighbors, friends, and fellow craft enthusiasts in our Inman Square studio.

Holiday Hand-Lettering with Letter B Calligraphy
- Stop by to learn how to hand-letter acrylic ornaments, gift tags, cards and envelopes for the holidays! You'll learn an overview of modern calligraphy and helpful tips for practicing, plus we'll have prompts and faux calligraphy holiday phrases for inspiration in your own creations.

Join Alex Makes Art for an afternoon ornament buffet in partnership with Albertine Press- South Plaza
- An array of itty bitty trees, pom poms, bells, and bric-a-brac will fill the festive table as friends and families are invited to deck out their very own ornament. Plenty of crafting supplies will be on-hand to make for a customizable and crafty good time.
