Cambridge LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration

Because the regular LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration has been postponed to October during COVID, the Cambridge LGBTQ+ Commission wanted to still celebrate on Saturday, June 12th. So in partnership with a number of local organizations, we are sponsoring two one-hour LGBTQ+ events at Starlight Square.

1:30 FAMILY SHOW, artist Bren Bataclan will entertain children of all ages with his interactive art. Bren will show kids and adults how to draw his whimsical characters. We will illustrate lots of cute animal and yummy snack mashups.

3:30 CONCERT, musicians Taína Asili & Evan Greer will perform.

Taína is a New York-based Puerto Rican singer, filmmaker and activist carrying on the tradition of her ancestors, fusing past and present struggles into one soulful and defiant voice, and Evan will perform high energy, radical queer riot-folk music and workshops for liberation.
