Buy Me Boston Vol. 2 Book Launch Throwdown

Join us for the BUY ME, BOSTON VOLUME TWO book launch throwdown-apalooza!! Come view slideshows and Videos from 1960s - 1980s Boston, including images and stories from the new book, with your tour guide Brian Coleman and Dig Boston’s Chris Faraone.

We will be hosting six socially distant presentations, spread across two days. Each presentation lasts approximately an hour and twenty minutes. More details below and sign up for specific slots by purchasing tickets! See you there.

Special Guest: Mel Davis of Coffy Productions. A lifelong Dorchester resident, Mel promoted dozens of R & B shows in the 80s – 2000s, including many at the Strand and the Denison House in Dorchester as well as Boston venues like the Bradford Hotel and John Hancock Hall.

Special Guest: David Bieber of the David Bieber Archives. David is a renowned archivist (and WBCN, WFNX and Boston Phoenix executive) whose Norwood-based Archives house over one million pieces of Boston and national cultural history, ranging from movie posters and LPs to original copies of newspapers like Boston After Dark, the Avatar, Old Mole, the Boston Phoenix, the Real Paper. David wrote the preface to the new “Buy Me, Boston Volume 2” book.
