Feel the buzz of Halloween! BumbleBee Radio celebrates its 5th anniversary with the Spooky Season Showcase, a frighteningly fun evening on Friday, October 24 at Somerville’s gorgeous Crystal Ballroom. The night features Los Angeles indie powerhouse Beck Black and a trio of Boston bands making waves across the scene in power-pop duo The Peppermint Kicks (celebrating new album ‘Pop Rocks In My Chewing Gum’), alt-rock dynamo Jennifer Tefft & The Strange, and the musical misfit alchemy of Smitt E. Smitty & The Fezztones. Costumes are encouraged but not required Your event hostess for the evening is Kristen Eck of BumbleBee Radio, celebrating a half-decade of independent radio, serving up the best in indie, alternative, and Boston sounds.
