Would you like to learn to play some traditional Brazilian music and dance with a large ox puppet? A Brazilian dancer/musician will run a workshop for everyone to learn to dance and play music along with an ox puppet called Bumba Meu Boi--a tradition from the northern and northeastern part of Brazil. Learn how to use matracas for music making. This workshop is part of a preparation for the Festa Junina (Brazilian Harvest Festival) which will happen on June 14 at the Somerville Growing Center.
