Did you know that Cambridge was one of the first American cities to take municipal climate action?

In 1999, the City Council voted to join the Cities for Climate Protection. In 2002, the city adopted the Climate Protection Plan, a plan which envisions a Cambridge "smarter and more resourceful about the manner in which its buildings use energy, people and goods are transported, and waste is managed."

On August 14, join us for a panel discussion with representatives from the City of Cambridge, Harvard, and MIT. We'll talk about what's been done in Cambridge since 2002, what's next, and how these strategies both benefit residents and might be replicated around the country.

Per usual, we'll have refreshments and a chance-to-win some Patagonia gear. All proceeds will go to Climable, a local non-profit that will be tabling at the event. See you there!
