This workshop is for intermediate to advanced students and teachers to explore the healing power of back bends. We will work with urdhva dhanurasana (upward facing bow pose), viparita dandasana, and preparations for kapotasana (pigeon pose) and eka pada raja kapotasana.
You will learn a sequence of poses that prepare each part of your body and mind to receive backbends safely with grace, ease, and some hard work.
Students should have a regular practice of backbends. This workshop is not appropriate for students with shoulder injuries.
