Break the Chains is a semi-monthly all-ages, all gender, radical dance party featuring nationally touring queer and trans performers. Hosted by Boston's own queer riot-folker Evan Greer.

Featuring: TAINA ASILI Y LA BANDA REBELDE, revolutionary afro-latin queer rock band back by popular demand!

Check out http://www.tainaasili.com and their new music video "No Es Mi Presidente" that debuted in Rolling Stone.

Plus special guests:

DJ AFROPANTHER
RUSHELLE FRASIER
ALICIA VIDA ORTIZ
MISS GEO
SIDNEY GISH

At 6:00pm we will kick off the night with a digital security training for queers. Come early to learn basic steps to protect yourself and your community from surveillance and harassment.

$10 - 20 sliding scale suggested donation to support touring queer artists. No one turned away. Wheelchair accessible.

Volunteer at the party and get in for free! Email: [email protected]

*Mark your calendars for the next party too, Saturday, June 3rd headlined by Brooklyn klezmer-stomp riot-grrl legends THE SHONDES! Plus DJ Raq City, and bicycle percussionist Reynaliz Hererra*
