I started a public lecture series at MIT called "Lecture Notes" that brings artists, writers, musicians, etc. to campus for intimate conversations. Think MTV Unplugged meets C-Span BookTV meets Inside the Actors Studio meets Fresh Air with Terry Gross! ;)

I am writing today to invite you all to join us *this Thursday, March 20 from 4-6 pm* when bestselling author Joanna Rakoff visits campus to share stories, insights, and the art of pushing creative boundaries.

Don’t miss this chance to hear from the writer behind the brilliant memoir My Salinger Year (made into a 2020 feature film starring Margaret Qualley and Sigourney Weaver) and the coming-of-age novel A Fortunate Age!

The event is free, all ages are welcome, and I would love to see you there!

More info below, but please message me with any questions.

📝: LECTURE NOTES: Break Every Rule w/ Joanna Rakoff

📍: Pappalardo Lab, Basement of Building 3 (enter through main entrance on 77 Mass Ave, walk straight until you reach Building 3 and take the stairs down, hang left and you will see the Pappalardo entrance!)

🗓️: Thursday, March 20, 4-6 pm

🎟️: FREE and open to the public (preregister here: https://lnkd.in/eRF9wfKY)

*books available for purchase at the event*
