One Can Help provides underserved children and families in the juvenile court and child welfare systems, with the critical resources they urgently need to improve their lives and build better futures, which are often not available to them otherwise:
A laptop for a teen who has no other way to do homework, an after-school activity for a child who needs more supervision, a bus pass so a teen can attend skills training programs, or a month's rent to keep a family from eviction, our assistance improves lives, supports families, and helps the juvenile court and child welfare systems better support vulnerable children.
One Can Help's 12th Annual Fundraiser takes place on May 10, 2018 at 6:30pm at the Windsor Club in Newton and the keynote speaker is Ayanna Pressley, Boston City's first Black Councilwoman who focusses on innovative anti-poverty initiatives that 'move the needle’, which is exactly what One Can Help does. An older foster teen will also speak at this event!
