Cheesesteaks vs. Lobster Rolls! Pauli’s, Boston’s most acclaimed sandwich shop, has made a hefty public wager with the opposing team’s famous deli, Campo’s, in Philadelphia, PA. All eyes will be on the Super Bowl match-up between the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday, February 4th, 2018, and the “steaks” have never been higher at Pauli’s, as owner Paul Barker has placed a friendly bet with rival Michael Campo, owner of Campo’s Deli, wagering twenty-five cheesesteaks to be delivered to a location of Pauli’s choice be it fire, police a local school or charity should the Patriots win, and twenty-five lobster rolls to be delivered to Campo’s choice if the unthinkable were to happen!


“As a neighborhood shop owner, I love to connect with other like-minded businesses, and what better way to have some good-old-fashioned fun than with a friendly public wager with the opposing team’s iconic deli? As lobster rolls are synonymous with New England, cheesesteaks are the same to Philly, and when we reached out to Campo’s to accept the bet, they were equally as excited to show some playful sportsmanship. May the best team win,” said Barker.

Let the games begin this Super Bowl with Pauli’s of Boston and Campo’s of Philly! On Monday, February 5th, 2018, the loser will concede and announce over social media that they will be delivering twenty-five (lobster rolls or cheesesteaks) overnight to the location of the winner’s choice.
