Roxane Gay, author of Hunger and Bad Feminist, is the headlining keynote at Boston University's annual Power of Narrative conference.

Now in its 20th year, the Power of Narrative conference is a three-day series of keynote addresses and intimate breakout sessions on topics ranging from interviewing techniques to the future of the media landscape.

Attendees range from journalism students to mid-career practitioners, including print and digital journalists, nonfiction book writers, radio producers and reporters, editors, photojournalists, teachers, content producers from nonprofits and universities, and anyone with a strong interest in narrative nonfiction.

Other 2018 speakers include Mark Bowden, author of Black Hawk Down, Sacha Pfeiffer from the Boston Globe spotlight team (played by Rachel McAdams in the Oscar-winning film Spotlight), political blogger Charlie Pierce, and many more.

Early bird tickets on sale until November 30. Ticket sales end on March 22 or until sold out.
