Join us for a virtual recap of the Boston Coastal Storm Risk Management Study progress to date, and what's coming up!
Boston has 47 miles of coastline, much of which is vulnerable to flooding from rising sea levels and storm surge. In partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the City of Boston is working on the Boston Storm Study to review risk and develop long-term mitigation strategies to protect our people and infrastructure. Next week, join us for a virtual recap of the study progress in 2025, and what you can expect in 2026.
The community meeting will encompass all neighborhoods included in the Boston CSRM scope including Charlestown, Dorchester, East Boston, South Boston, and North End/Downtown/Wharf District.
You can expect to:
- learn about the study progress since the neighborhood meetings
- ask questions,
- share concerns,
- and learn how to provide feedback in 2026
