Spring has sprung and the sailing season is underway! Join us as we set sail around Boston Harbor for an afternoon of free sailing trips and discounts on instruction and membership including our award-winning 26-hour LEARN TO SAIL course, which will be offered at $90 off.


Boston Sailing Center is offering half hour skippered sails during our annual Open House celebration from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, May 19th. Sailors of all abilities are welcome to join the fun.


Sign up for your free sail ahead of time through this Eventbrite invitation to avoid long wait times. Tickets are to be ordered per person, if you are signing up a group be sure to get a ticket for everyone! There are one hour time slots that you can select, your sail will be within that time period. Please arrive at the beginning of your selected time slot. (i.e. if you selected 1-2pm, please arrive no later than 1pm). We will make every attempt to get you on the water in your selected time slot. If there are unforeseen delays, please understand that your sail may happen after your selected time slot. There will be refreshments to enjoy on the upper deck of the riverboat while you wait!


We will have staff on hand to answer questions about our courses, seasonal membership options, racing, corporate charters, and more, so feel free to come down at any time to inquire. This is a great way to enjoy time on the water, check out the facilities and fleet, and talk to our knowledgeable BSC staff and members.

Sign up: Sign up ahead of time through this Eventbrite invitation to avoid long wait times. There are one hour time slots that you can select, your sail will be within that time period. One sail per person or group. Ticket orders will be cancelled if multiple time slots are ordered. Please do not order more tickets than you need.
Nearest T-Stop: Walking distance from Aquarium (Blue Line), Haymarket (Green & Orange), Government Center, North Station, and South Station (Red Line)
Parking: Pay lots available at Lewis & Sargent’s Wharf
Dress: Seasonal, extra layer advised for warmth. Boat shoes or tennis shoes recommended.
Age: All ages are welcome! Anyone under 13 years old will be required to wear a life jacket. We have some available to use but suggest bringing your own if you have them.
Enjoy the best view of Boston! Each boat (ranging in length from twenty-four to forty feet) will be captained by one of our experienced sailors, so you can sit back and enjoy the ride or take a turn on the helm. It is your time to start or continue your sailing experience!
