Every photographer has their own unique journey and there is a lot to learn along the way. In our newest webinar series, we're talking to photographers from our BPW community to learn how they got their start. Join us as each photographer discusses their path while passing along advice, addressing learning curves, and celebrating victories.
In our first iteration, we are talking to product-based photographers—Amanda Reiter and Haley Abram!
About the panelists:
Amanda Reiter enjoys creating images that tell a story through the use of color, light, and shadows. She's fascinated by the sort of magic that can happen in doing studio photography. She started out doing food photography and quickly became obsessed with it. Soon she realized the thing she loved most was working in the studio, creating entire scenes from scratch. A bit of a control freak, she likes being able to control and manipulate the light. Currently, she photographs books for publishers and would like to work with more food and product companies. When she's not in the studio playing around, you can find her baking or watching reruns of the Office.
Haley Abram is a freelance photographer specializing in portraiture, lifestyle and events. She graduated from Boston University with a degree in Photojournalism, and has worked with several news and media publications during college and post-grad. Haley has always shot creatively in her free time, and has recently shifted to shooting creative photography full-time focusing on people, products and events. Haley has experience photographing in a variety of environments from photo studios to on-stage performances, and she loves to experiment with and explore new ways to bring stories to life through visuals. Lately, she's all about using natural light and the outdoors to capture real moments with her clients.
