Love a good story? Boston Lyric Opera invites you to join us in your favorite reading nook as we pair some of our favorite novels with each of this Season’s operas. From crazy love stories to epic journeys, we’ll explore the common threads that bring all these stories together – both on stage and on the page.


We’ll explore two novels – Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Chan and The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon – as well as discuss the stories told through our fall operas, The Barber of Seville and Schoenberg in Hollywood.
