The Boston Int'l Music Competition Award Ceremony will be grandly held in the evening of July 15th, 2023, and followed by the winners' concert in Boston. The First Position winners in the fifteen groups will present their talent and music on the stage.
Boston Int'l Music Competition (BIMC) is a prestigious event organized and founded by WeStar Academy of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. With the support of renowned musicians and music schools from across the globe, BIMC operates independently under the leadership of its Advisory Board and esteemed Judge Panel. We are especially grateful for the support from our sponsors, partners and volunteers in making this wonderful event successful!
The BIMC competition is dedicated to offer more opportunities to young musicians across the world to showcase their talents and pursue their love for music. In addition to the competition, we will provide concert opportunities for the winners yearly, including WeStar Four Season Concerts and music concert tours with world-class musicians both in USA and China. We encourage the participants to develop their music interest either through professional career or as a life pursuit. BIMC competition will prove to be a tremendous help for college applications.
BIMC CATEGORIES:
(1) - Voice, (2) - Piano, (3) - Other Instruments
AGE GROUPS:
A - Elementary (5-11 years old)
B - Junior (11-14 years old)
C - Senior (14-19 years old)
D1 - Young Artist (19-25 years old): Non-Music Major
D2 - Young Artist (19-25 years old): Music Major
So, we have a total of 15 competition groups.
AWARD CERTIFICATES AND PRIZES:
(1) First Place Winner for the age group of Non-Music Major (A, B, C, or D1) in every category will receive a Certificate and a $300 prize award
(2) First Place Winner for the age group of Young Artist Music Major (D2) in every category will receive a Certificate and a $1000 prize award
(3) Second Place Winner for the age group of Non-Music Major (A, B, C, or D1) in every category will receive a Certificate and a $200 prize award
(4) Second Place Winner for the age group of Young Artist Music Major (D2) in every category will receive a Certificate and a $500 prize award
(5) Third Place Winner for every age group in every category will receive a Certificate and a $100 prize award
(6) Best Audience Favorite Award Winner for every age group in every category will receive a Certificate only
(7) Best Stage Performance Award Winner for every age group in every category will receive a Certificate only
(8) Honorable Award Winners for every age group in every category will receive a Certificate only
